The Canon RF 85mm f1.2 need no introduction, it is classed as one of the best prime lenses available by any manufacture.
Rarely do you find a lens with such a wide open aperture that is sharp right off the bat, the RF85mm f1.2 is that rarity!
Bitingly sharp across the frame the detail it captures on a 45mp Canon R5 is simply incredible.

As a bonus the auto focus is extremely fast, this is also helped by the excellent Canon R5 but paired together it makes capturing wedding day fast action a joy.
Being this sharp and almost distortion free it makes it not only the perfect portrait/wedding lens but ideal for landscapes as well. Below is an image taken at f5.0.

It’s not small or light! Pictured here with the equally superb RF 28-70 F2, two of the best lenses currently on the market!
In fact its so big that mounted on my Canon R7 the small size of the R7 shows itself as a problem as the camera will not sit with the lens mounted, the body rolls around on the lens body which is not ideal.
However mounted on the R5 the handling is a dream.
All in all this is a one of a kind lens which is able to take images like no other lens currently available.
